Are you looking to trade options? Check out our TastyTrade review to see all that the network has to offer.
People who have hobbies can be very passionate about them. When it comes to stock market trading, it’s a hobby that many people find intriguing.
Trading can be fun and exhilarating, and there’s the added prospect of making money.
Some serious traders have succeeded in making a living at trading, but not without putting in many hours of study and gaining much experience, as is true of any career.
Options trading is currently more popular than ever with amateur traders, because trades can be done with less capital and with less risk than simply buying stocks.
However, trading options without sufficient knowledge and education can quickly empty trading accounts!
That’s where TastyTrade comes in, so keep reading our TastyTrade review to learn more.
What is TastyTrade?
Coming to the rescue of newbie option traders is the Internet network TastyTrade.com.
Think of TastyTrade options 101 as a place for beginners, as well as a place for those professionals who want to deep dive into the mathematics and complex concepts of options trading.
Tasty’s daily content covers all aspects of trading options, futures and cryptocurrencies for both “mom and pop” traders and professionals alike.
A Little Bit About TastyTrade’s Founder
Founder Tom Sosnoff is a trailblazer. He was a market maker on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) for 20 years. He later was instrumental in developing the popular Think Or Swim trading platform.
Eventually, he and his company sold Think Or Swim to TD Ameritrade. Next, Tom had the vision to create an Internet network specifically for options traders.
He wanted this channel to be free for everyone and to have many hours of daily education, live trading, commentary and market research.
Taking the name based on the famous Tasty Kake baking company in the Philadelphia area, he called the new network TastyTrade.
Bringing together the top talent in the field, he and his team began TastyTrade. Tom hired media professionals who had the know-how to handle video production, and the channel was launched.
TastyTrade also assembled the best minds to form a research team to create a “think tank” that delves into the technical aspects of options concepts.
TastyTrade Options 101 – Unlimited Education
Tom and his long-time fellow CBOE floor trader Tony Battista host a daily live morning show where they discuss the market, put on live trades, and give tutorial tips for traders.
Their back and forth friendly banter gives the show an entertaining twist.
Writer and news correspondent Vonetta Logan joins the two, adding a satirical view of the day’s financial news.
During the day, the network has a variety of programs on everything from trading options, futures and cryptocurrency, aimed at both “retail” (amateur) and professional traders.
For beginners, shows breakdown the basics of options trading and theoretical trading concepts with practical applications.
TastyTrades is the place where you can get inspiration along with free trade ideas.

What is TastyWorks?
Tom and his team has also developed a trading platform, TastyWorks, which is quickly becoming the preferred platform for options traders.
From this platform, you can even follow trades made by many of the program personalities and researchers at TastyTrade.
If you’d like to give TastyWorks a try, click HERE, then scroll down and click “Open an Account.”
You can open the account for free without funding it, which allows you time to explore the trading platform to see how it works.
I love this because you will get a chance to see if the platform is a good fit before you go through the steps of funding an account.
There’s also the option to do all of your research on TastyWorks, but then make your trades on another platform. We really love Robinhood because of its ease of use.
We realize that Robinhood isn’t the best place to do your research, so we always encourage new traders to do their research elsewhere, like at TastyWorks, Yahoo! Finance or Finviz.com, and then go back to Robinhood to complete the trade.

TastyTrade Review: In Conclusion
TastyTrade is not like any other financial news channel, such as CNBC and Bloomberg TV.
Tasty makes their content feel more personal, directly involving the viewer. You can even email show hosts.
TastyTrade is a game changer. Average traders now have an educational opportunity like never before.
Hundreds of tutorial videos are also available to watch on specific concepts, as well as previously aired programs.
Watching the channel daily is like getting a college education in options trading from the best in the business, and all FREE!
Tom wants to pass along his knowledge to the next generation of traders. No one would think that a channel talking about options all day long would be watched by anyone.
But TastyTrade has succeeded in creating an educational network that, while addressing serious technical trading concepts, adds a touch of humor along with the excitement of making money.
TastyTrade celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2021, and continues to grow and to expand even to other countries.

Thank you for your review of Tastytrade! I have actually never heard of this program even being an expert in the financial industry. This does seem like a very robust educational program for “newbies” as you say to learn about option trading and to be able to apply this knowledge to go out on their own to place their own trades.
Yes, I don’t think you’ll find a better education when it comes to options trading than with TastyTrade, and it’s completely free!

Yes, I think you will find it a great place to learn. I hear you about the information overload. I think the difference is that TastyTrade has daily shows that are packed with humor, which makes it so you don’t even feel like you’re learning, but rather having a good time.
Thanks for your TastyTrade review. I found it well written and easy to follow along!
As an older person I always think of trading as something you do with stocks and bonds, I had never really heard much about trading options before I read your article.
TastyTrade certainly sounds like a great place for someone to get started with learning about options trading. I really like your review of the background of its founder and the different platforms they utilize to connect with their members. Their experience is impressive. This will help give prospective clients a sense of confidence that TastyTrade is an up front operation.
Thanks and if you want to learn more about options, you can visit our YouTube channel as well. We have several videos on options trading. https://www.youtube.com/c/five…
Good thing I came come across this, I’ve been wanting to get into trading for a while, trading is the future for so much money and potential but patience is key. TrastyTrade has lots of potential and for beginners to start somewhere it’s a must if you want get into trading. Robinhood is used for people who are already experienced and know what do, but I would try TrastyTrade to have a fresh start and to know what investing is all about.
Robinhood is not for the experienced trader, it’s actually for beginners. It’s the most basic platform out there, but it isn’t a place you can do research, so you can only use it to enter and exit trades. You can certainly skip Robinhood though and use TastyTrade and TastyWorks together.
Hi Dan. Thank you for very interesting article. Im just starting my adventure with more serious trading and posts like this are extremely useful. I was looking for some good platforms online and even tested few but to be fair I wasn’t fully satisfied with results. But looking on your post TastyTrade is what IM looking for. With lot of information and training it seems as a perfect place for beginners and Im looking forward to check it in practice.
Awesome! What’s great is you can give this platform a try completely free!
